Criteria Clinical Cases

4 clinical cases, 15 minutes each (including case presentation and discussion)

2 clinical cases, 15 minutes each (including case presentation and discussion)
Logistics:
- The call for abstracts for case reports will be included in the general call for abstracts and will also be sent to all attendees upon registration.
- Case reports will only be eligible for oral presentation.

Case Report Presentation at the 10th THNO
We invite submissions of clinical case reports for oral presentation at the upcoming THNO meeting. The case reports should focus on squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck or nasopharyngeal carcinoma, excluding other histologies such as melanomas, sarcomas, and rare entities.
Topics:
- Curative-intent treatment using a multimodality approach
- Palliative setting, with emphasis on systemic treatment sequencing and/or a multimodal approach incorporating both systemic and local therapies
Submission Instructions:
Please submit an abstract detailing your case, including sections on the background, case description, and conclusions. Alongside the abstract, provide a preliminary presentation file (.ppt or .pdf) containing supporting materials such as imaging findings, histopathology, and clinical evaluations. To encourage interaction and active participation, the presentation should also include 3–5 questions, each with 3–5 response options for audience voting.

It is our pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract for the THNO 2025 Meeting, which will take place in Faro, Portugal
Here, you will find instructions for submitting your abstract and the guidelines you need to follow. Please read them carefully before starting the submission process.
▪ Abstracts can only be submitted online via the abstract submission form. Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted.
▪ All mandatory fields must be filled out.
▪ To ensure a smooth review process of abstracts, a topic for your work must be selected during the submission process. Note: the executive or the scientific committee can change the choice you make for the topic.
▪ The title is no longer than 30 words.
▪ The acceptable length of the abstract is a maximum of 500 words.
▪ It is possible to add a maximum of 2 tables, figures or images to your abstract.
▪ It is possible to submit your abstract until September 17th 2025 23:59 CET
▪ After submission of the abstract it is not possible to make any changes.
▪ The abstract’s presenting author must be registered for the meeting before October 15th.
Abstract topics
The THNO symposium is centered around four major themes, each covering various topics. During your abstract submission, you can only choose the topic applicable to your abstract, not the theme.

Abstract format and content
The abstract should be structured into the following sections:
▪ A title which clearly indicates the nature of the abstract
▪ Objectives
▪ Methods
▪ Results
▪ Conclusion
ABSTRACT CATEGORIES
The following presentation-type possibilities are available. Please note that the choice made while submitting the abstract is not necessarily the final presentation type. The scientific committee will make the final choice and communicate at the latest by the end of September.
▪ Oral presentation
Abstracts selected for an oral presentation will be scheduled in one of Proffered papers – sessions
▪ Poster presentation
Out of all accepted posters, a limited number of will be selected and invited to be presented in a session.
